Easter Sunday

Pastor Jerry Wahl joined us for Easter Sunday.
What better time for an update than Easter. Rez House celebrated its third Easter sunrise service this Easter morning. The staff gathered at 5:30 am at the pavilion in Rez Park and setup for church and also set up tables for the griddles for our Easter pancake breakfast. We opened the service with prayers and then our Rez House Kids Chorus welcomed the sunrise with song and it was beautiful. Then we read the scriptures of the day followed by a wonderful sermon from our special guest, Pastor Jerry Wahl. Another wonderful gift that we received was Communion. Again Pastor Wahl officiated with the assistance of Pastor Mark Bybee who comes to us via the Presbyterian Church, now to serve with us. And then there is the greatest gift of all, the great gift that Jesus gave us, that we might be free indeed!
There is still much to be done at Resurrection Park. We are praying that God will see to our needs and provide the funds that are needed to complete the work on the modular building that will house the church offices, classrooms, music room and a small chapel. We are also midstream in the renovation of an old garage that we are using for teen meetings. The finishing touches will be converting the pavilion into a dining hall and kitchen. If you would like to help us complete this phase of our growth, send a donation to Resurrection House Mission at 37240 Calle de Milagros, Dade City, Florida 33523 or call us at 352-567-1432 and ask what you can do for help.
